Head Coach of Fort Morgan for 24 years (1982-2004). I spent 9 years as an assistant before becoming a head coach. I will be entering my fourth season as a volunteer assistant coach on Harrison Chisum’s staff. During my 24 years as a head coach, I was fortunate to work with many outstanding young men, and I was blessed to have assistant coaches on my staff that were among the best in the state, including four who are now on Coach Chisum’s staff: Mike Gross, Josh Langford, Aaron Strobel, and Greg Edson. My hometown is Louisville, Colorado, where I graduated in 1966. I attended Western State College and played running back in football there. I graduated in 1970 and made Fort Morgan my one and only home, as I taught here for 34 years. My wife, Maureen, and I have three children, sons Reid and Kent, and daughter Kelli.
